The command 

% sudo port install eigen

Produced the following output 

--->  Computing dependencies for eigen
--->  Verifying checksum(s) for eigen
Error: Checksum (sha1) mismatch for 2.0.16.tar.bz2
Error: Checksum (rmd160) mismatch for 2.0.16.tar.bz2
Error: Target org.macports.checksum returned: Unable to verify file checksums
Log for eigen is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_math_eigen/eigen/main.log

eigen 2.0.16 was stealth-updated, as previous versions have been before. The old and new distfiles differ only in the addition of a file named .hg_archival.txt, and a change in the name of the worksrcdir. These won't have any effect on the build, so I won't increase the revision when I fix this.
