error building libgnomecanvas

Description
When I try to build libgnomecanvas I get the following error
$ sudo port install libgnomecanvas Unable to execute port: can't set "depends_lib": invalid depspec: port:libxslt
What additional information can I provide?

old version of base was the problem, thanks to ole for resolving
