Newbie question: what does an update to duplicity depend on, i.e. what is blocking it? I really would like to be able to run my backups again to S3 ;-) Is it just that somebody needs to check in an updated Ports file? If so, I tried to update it (see below). Could anybody with commit rights verify and do this, please> Thanks

description Encrypted bandwidth-efficient backup. long_description Duplicity backs directories by producing encrypted \

tar-format volumes and uploading them to a remote or local file \ server. Because duplicity uses librsync, the incremental archives \ are space efficient and only record the parts of files that have \ changed since the last backup. Because duplicity uses GnuPG to \ encrypt and/or sign these archives, they will be safe from spying \ and/or modification by the server.

Fixed in r87892. Sorry for the delay -- I don't use duplicity personally, so I'm not sensitive to updates. ryandesign@…, porter@…, Hartmut.Benz@…: if one or several of you do use duplicity personally, and so care more than me about keeping this port up to date, would one of you like to take over maintaining this port? I'm not particularly attached to it. :)
