Boost installation

Description
My apologies if this is redundant. I see lots of tickets related to boost.
The following dialog suggests I have boost installed via macports, but it's not in /opt/local/bin or /opt/local/sbin:
$ sudo port install boost @1.47 Password: ---> Computing dependencies for boost ---> Cleaning boost $ port installed | grep boost
boost @1.47.0_2 (active)
Could someone tell me how to complete the installation or where to find the binary?

According to the description, boost is a set of libraries, so i wouldn't expect to find anything in bin. To find out the installed files type:
