various errors building openssl.c (see attached log)

XCode 3.2.6 on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Intel 32 bit.

Summary: mailx @12.4 install fails → mailx: error: expected declaration specifiers or ‘...’ before ‘STACK’

This is an incompatibility with openssl 1.x.

Here's ​Debian's report about the same problem.

This also illustrates that mailx uses openssl, and thus needs to declare a dependency on it.
