pgplot: build fails

Reported by: chuckh@… Owned by: MarcusCalhoun-Lopez (Marcus Calhoun-Lopez)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.0.3
Keywords: Cc:
Port: pgplot

Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

I have an osx 10.6 x86_64 mac for which I successfully installed pgplot. However, I needed a universal installation to be i386 compatible and I messed around with macports.conf and now things don't work. I restored macports.conf, uninstalled pgplot and cleaned pgplot and attempted to once again install pgplot for the x86_64 and the install fails. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried the clean and re install as suggested. There was no difference. I also attached the main.log for your review. Thanks...

I would like to make sure someone saw my update as I have not heard back. I did do the clean and install which failed again. The main.log file is attached to this ticket for review. I could use help on this issue and am currently under a deadline to get this working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The main.log file attached here contains lines that say "Skipping completed" which means this was not a clean build attempt. Please "sudo port selfupdate", "sudo port clean pgplot", and then try exactly once more; immediately thereafter, without running any additional port commands, attach the main.log file.

Resolution: invalid
Status: newclosed

Based on the comments, this error was probably due to the fact that the build was not a clean attempt.
Please feel free to reopen if this is not the case.
