avrdude-5.0-BETA

Description: an Atmel AVR MCU flash programmer; this simple program builds and runs cleanly on Mac OS X, has no dependencies by default, and no changes or patches are necessary

Comments: an additional documentation build is possible but requires a LaTeX distribution; this is disabled by default; a man page is included which contains all the documentation needed to use the program.

Since dports has the 'cross' category, avrdude would probably fit better there than in devel where it lives in the FreeBSD ports tree.

I should mention that I think this should go into the 'devel' port category. This is where it is located in the FreeBSD ports tree where I am the maintainer.
