#35298 closed defect (fixed)

installing clang-3.1 should not require me to install llvm-3.0 and llvm-3.1

Reported by: ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt) Owned by: mfeiri
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.1.1
Keywords: Cc: jeremyhu (Jeremy Huddleston Sequoia)
Port: ld64

Description

$ sudo port install clang-3.1
--->  Computing dependencies for clang-3.1
--->  Dependencies to be installed: ld64 llvm-3.0 llvm-3.1 python26
^C

Could ld64 default to the latest stable llvm -- llvm-3.1?
