Description
Gimp 2.8.2 sees a return of a problem first reported in the early days of the transition to 2.8. It freezes while trying to load the xsane plugin. Attempts to remove xsane lead to the system refusing as Gimp 2.8.2 depends on it. Happy to test any suggested solutions, time permitting.

xsane loads without crash in latest GIMP 2.10.x.
