$ hg st
*** failed to import extension hgext.forest from /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site-packages/hgext/forest.py: No module named repo

$ cat ~/.hgrc 
[extensions]
hgext.forest=/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site-packages/hgext/forest.py

I have upgraded hg-forest to the latest version in r98008. It does not fix this problem for me.

The port's homepage says:

This third-party extension does not appear to be actively maintained. Consider using subrepos instead.
