gnudatalanguage: Patch for new mpich

Reported by: eborisch (Eric A. Borisch) Owned by: tenomoto (Takeshi Enomoto)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version:
Keywords: haspatch Cc: slayoo@…
Port: gnudatalanguage

Description

I'm planning to update the mpich port (as discussed here) and the gnudatalanguage port needs a small patch (attached). I can commit this at the same time as the mpich upgrade so things are never in a broken state. I'm opening this ticket to run this by the maintainer.

D'oh! Thanks for catching that.

Sylwester,

mpich has nomaintainer. Does gdl support mpich2?

Oh, mpich3 will take over the name mpich. It seems that gdl compiles with mpich2, but mpich(3) would be better. Committed in r99922 and r99924. Now waiting for the update of mpich.

As far as I know, the MPI routines in GDL are non-standard and not documented. Removing the MPI support from the GDL package in macports will probably not upset any user.
