Description
Handbrake uses the Sparkle framework in an attempt to self-update. This should be disabled so that MacPorts controls the version installed.

Transmission uses the following patchfile to deal with this problem: https://svn.macports.org/repository/macports/trunk/dports/net/transmission/files/patch-sparkle.diff

There are some other applications that have had the same problem in the past (Fluid.app back when it was still part of MacPorts, some of the TexLive apps, and a few others that I'm forgetting), perhaps a similar solution could be used here?
