Description
I've updated homebank from 4.4 to 4.5. First time doing this, so not sure where to go from here! I've been following the guide here: http://trac.macports.org/wiki/howto/Upgrade, and have attached a diff file. Please let me know if there's anything further I need to do.
Also, as there's no maintainer for homebank at the moment, I'm happy to take it on. How can I edit the portfile to reflect this?

@garthrodgers: You diffed the wrong file, you need to diff the portfile not the binary.

Ah crap, thought I was doing so well! I just finished the guide, and performed step 7 (cleanup). Homebank has now reverted to 4.4 on my computer. I know it had been 4.5 prior to taking this step, as I'd run it to check. From my limited knowledge of all things terminal, does the last step actually overwrite the updated portfile with the copy made of the original, thus wiping out all changes? Having said that, my local portfile still gives the version as 4.5 with checksums to match. Any idea what might be happening?
