Wait so if they're both at 2.36.0 now, what's the point in having two separate ports? Can one be replaced_by the other?

I don't plan to make any further changes at this time. Gnome version numbering strategy is for there to be several "unstable" releases (with the second number of the version number being odd) between each "stable" (even-numbered second number) release. So there will almost certainly be an unstable glib 2.37.x eventually, at which point I will update the glib2-devel port to that version. I don't wish to spend a lot of time making glib2-devel replaced_by glib2 now, only to have to undo that work again later.
