A new install of imapfilter by port install imapfilter doesn't show any problems. However, when running imapfilter it will show the following error:
dyld: symbol not found _lual_register
expected in liblua.dylib

The lua port was recently updated; this might have something to do with lua5.1 vs. lua5.2 incompatibilities...
