Testing fail2ban filters fails with fail2ban-regex. For example: 

[mac3:/var/log] root# fail2ban-regex /var/log/system.log /opt/local/etc/fail2ban/filter.d/sshd.conf
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/opt/local/bin/fail2ban-regex", line 30, in <module>
    from client.configparserinc import SafeConfigParserWithIncludes
ImportError: No module named client.configparserinc
