GNU Radio Companion will not run

Description

I installed gnuradio on a macbook pro running mountainlion. This install seemed to be successful. However, when i try to start gnuradio-companion --> sh: gnuradio-companion, I get the errors shown in the attached file.

Are you running this command in Apple's Terminal.app? If so, that's the issue. You need to execute GNU Radio GUI commands using X11.app or XQuartz.app. On 10.8, use the installer found here at MacOSForge. If not, then I'll think of something for you to try to help me debug this issue.
