Please attach the entire main.log file; the portion you quoted does not show the error.

In

../../../../../Samples/NiViewer/glh/glh_linear.h you need to rename the equivalent macro to something else, since it's already taken somewhere else.. try EQUIVALENT..

However, I did not manage to get any sensor working.

I've been busy working on other issues unrelated to Macports, and haven't stayed on top of this. However, I just tried installing OpenNI on my laptop, and it seems to have installed without problem, as I'm sure you know. I just thought I owed you the update given your support on this.
