Description

Hello, this is my first ticket for macports so don't please don't tear my head off if I have done something wrong.

The latest version of bluefish is version 2.2.4, macports is using now a quite old version (2.0.3). Maybe it should upgraded.

Could not add afterwards the maintainer email address (ryandesign@…), sorry.

Actually I'm not the maintainer (according to "port info bluefish"); I'm merely the last person to have modified the port.

By the way you don't need to Cc yourself when you're the reporter.

Good to know. I only viewed into the portfile and did not notice that the "guy" on the top is not the maintainer, sorry. Than this port is not maintained and will not updated, I think.

That does not mean it won't be updated. However if you attach a tested patch to update it, and better yet volunteer to be maintainer, then this will happen much faster.

Updated to 2.2.4 in r112876. I didn't do much testing, but at least it builds and opens on Mavericks.

Yes, I tried it today. It is building and running an Mavericks. I previous tried for myself to build the sources on my machine but I was surprised of the visual appearance of bluefish. So I thought I've done something wrong. But this seems to be X11 look and feel only.
