MinGW ports seem relatively abandoned to me.

But I don't see a point worrying about +universal when not even the basic build works.

Resolution: wontfix
Status: newclosed

I don't see a reason for keeping this ticket open (or for trying to address the issue). I would actually prefer to remove both wxmsw and the old mingw once the new mingw-w64 is added.

If you have a good reason why this should be fixed, please speak up.

In cd6466f60c9e8f02a7d9267c387ff43cb4f0d5d8/macports-ports (master):

wxmsw: remove a broken outdated port

The port is horribly outdated and no longer builds.
(The old MinGW compiler was obsoleted/removed nearly 8 months ago.)

If someone wants to revive this port,
it should be done from scratch anyway.
