I have already installed pyobjc, and matplotlib packages from pip. but I need matplotlib +gtk2.

Hmm, why does dependency py27-pyobjc not exist on your system? It does on mine.

I don't know. I've also tried this:

$ sudo port install py27-pyobjc
Error: Port py27-pyobjc not found

If it's only me having this problem, then: How can I fix this problem on my computer? I have reinstalled macport recently.

I don't know how that happened. I rerun it on clean install of 10.9.1 and the problem went away.
