#42438 closed update (fixed)

py-obspy @0.8.4_2: update to @0.9.0

Port: py-obspy

Description

This is an update for a port I maintain. The port now has a new dependency py-flake8 which was submitted in #42437 and a recursive dependency py-flake-mccabe #42436.

Note to the committer: The setup.py for version 0.9.0 has been rewritten and also the new patch has a different purpose, so a direct patch probably makes no sense. I therefore would propose to delete the previous files/patch-setup.py.diff, and then submit the new one if this is possible.

py-obspy @0.9.0 (python, science)
Sub-ports: py26-obspy, py27-obspy

Description: This port provides a development snapshot of the ObsPy package. ObsPy is an
open-source project dedicated to provide a Python framework for processing
seismological data. It provides support for file formats and signal processing
routines which allow the manipulation, analysis and visualization of seismological
time series. The goal of the ObsPy project is to facilitate rapid application
                      development for seismology.

Note that providing new patches, as you did, is the preferred method. Patching a patch does not make much sense anyway.
