gnuplot fails on #include <type_traits>

Description

I have installed gnuplot in the past with:

sudo port install gnuplot

I just upgraded to OS X 10.9.1, XCode Version 4.5.1.

I've done an: 

xcode-select --install
sudo xcodebuild -license
sudo port -d -v selfupdate
sudo port upgrade outdated

and it breaks on gnuplot. 

sudo port clean gnuplot
sudo port install gnuplot

fails with the default compiler and clang3.5. The problem is: 

info:build /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/wxWidgets.framework/Versions/wxWidgets/3.0/include/wx-3.0/wx/strvararg.h:25:14: fatal error: 'type_traits' file not found
:info:build     #include <type_traits>
:info:build              ^
:info:build 1 error generated.

In the future, please Cc the port maintainers (port info --maintainers gnuplot) and attach the main.log.
