I tried to make a patch, all that was needed was to change the version and md5 for the new file.

I forgot to mention that gcc40, etc. will not build without this. It is a simple fix as far as I know why hasn't the problem at least been acknowledged by the maintainer?

Hopefully it is a patch to allow you to do the version bump even more easily.
