Description

Hi,

I have got a iMac with Snow-Leopard installed with the version 10.6.8 of OSX. There are two accounts: an administrator account and a user account. I installed successfully Macports 2.2.1, and then, OpenSSL 1.0.1g with the Terminal.app and command lines with "port" commands when logged on the administrator account. Now, logged on the user account, "port" commands are not found and the available version of OpenSSL is 0.9.8y. Why these differences and how to cancel them to have the same new versions on these to different accounts?

Bye

The MacPorts installer package only adds the MacPorts path to the PATH environment variable for the user you were logged in as when running the installer. Manually edit your shell startup files in your other user accounts to add the MacPorts path to the PATH variable. See https://guide.macports.org/#installing.shell.
