Description
I have tried to install hping3 wich failed then I applied the last patch from a few years ago I found in a closed ticket. after putting the second patch in files it worked flawless. Can the patch please go in main. If it has no maintainer I'd be happy to take that on.

Thanks! r120992. I also removed the redundant dependency on tcl when the tcl variant is not selected.
Note that a "request" ticket type is only for requesting new ports.

If you’re referring to #40763, it was not actually closed. I’ve closed it just now since the fix has been committed. If an open ticket has a fix that appears to have been forgotten, please ping the mailing list. If a ticket has been closed incorrectly, please reopen it. In neither case should another ticket be created.
