Description

Mavericks 10.9.3, Xcode 5.1.1 - fresh system (mac mini), all programs up to date
Try normal installation way: sudo port install asterisk -> build failed
Try again after a clean -> build failed
Try again after a clean with configure.compiler=llvm-gcc-4.2 -> build failed
Installing apple-gcc-4.3
Try again after a clean with configure.compiler=apple-gcc-4.2 -> build failed

The relevant error seems to be: 

:info:build ld: symbol dyld_stub_binding_helper not found, normally in crt1.o/dylib1.o/bundle1.o for architecture x86_64
:info:build clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

I'm not surprised the build fails; we have several other open tickets about other asterisk build failures and update requests. The port's maintainers have not been actively maintaining this port for years.
