Using OS/X Tiger 10.4.11 on a PPC G5 system with Xcode 2.5 and Macports 2.3.1 I receive this error message when I attempt to install the mariadb port. 

No LG_QUANTUM definition for architecture; specify via CPPFLAGS

I don't have any way to test on Tiger/PPC.
