openjade @1.3.2: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libiconv.la'

Hello everyone, I am trying to install Wine using this site's tutorial

but I only get as far as installing openjade when I get this:

I downloaded openjade separately and tried to install it but was told "opensp include files do not exist"

Any ideas? Suggestions?

We’d have to see the log file mentioned in the error message. Please run these commands…

% sudo port clean openjade wine
% sudo port install openjade

…and attach the log file (port logfile openjade) to this ticket.

Thanks for attaching the log. I did not see until now that you had done so. Trac does not send notifications for attachments, so when you attach a file to a Trac ticket, please be sure to also separately write a comment so that we are notified.

The log says:

cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libiconv.la'

So this is a duplicate of #44480.

So if I install the libiconv port, my WINE install will work?
