Grace and XMGrace have been updated upstream to version 5.1.24. Changelog:

Portability/Compilation

  • [ES] fixed detection of dynamic loading libraries (rep. # 2238)

Documentation/Info

  • [ES] install PDF docs instead of the DVI ones
  • [ES] added cephes/COPYING (from Debian)

Bug fixes

  • [ES] a workaround for broken input of non-ASCII text under UTF8 locales
  • [ES] always overwrite set comments when reading data in

I am trying to update this but running into problems. It seems to require linuxdoc, so first I had to fix the linuxdoc-utils port. Even so, it's now failing to find a required file, and I don't know what port provides it. Looking at the diff between the old and new version of grace I don't see what's changed regarding this. I should check if the old version builds or if it has the same error.

5.1.23 built without problems.

I reported the problem to the developers:

They worked out what the problem was and I updated the port to 5.1.24 including their patch in r125589.
