These diffs handle the following: 1) obviously, update the checksum, version number, and filename of the new tarball. 2) the soapcpp2 Makefile has a bunch of new library targets in it. In the previous Portfile, I had updated the Makefiles to allow for the creation of libtool managed shared libs. I extended this to the new libraries. 3) the configure.in changed slightly, but the same patch needed to be applied: a change from AC_PROG_RANLIB to AC_PROG_LIBTOOL. had to recreate the patch to do it.
