py27-tkinter installation failed

Description

py27-tkinter failed to installed on Yosemite (Xcode 6.1). I have attached the log file. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the report. In future tickets, please Cc any port maintainers (port info --maintainers py27-tkinter) and don’t set the Priority field (a committer will set it if necessary).

The issue seems clear enough:

:info:build error: garbage collection is no longer supported

If I read the log right, the port not installed is ”tk”, not py27-tkinter, am I right!? (So you did try to install py27-tkinter, it then started to build tk being its dependency, but that failed)

Note that the current maintainer of py27-tkinter is jmroot, but that is not the port with the error here; this should instead be filed against tk (maintained by mcalhoun).

This looks like a duplicate of #42850, even though that ticket was fixed months before this one was opened. But more importantly, I don't think there is currently an issue building tk on 10.10 Yosemite, so I think this can be closed.
