Description
Current version of fail2ban according to the official page at http://www.fail2ban.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page is 0.9.1 whereas Macports ships 0.8.10.

I fixed the livecheck in r128495.

The current version available via ports install fail2ban remains 0.8.14. Since the initial poster's query, an even newer stable version of fail2ban is 0.9.3.

Actually, it remains 0.8.10.
Since the initial poster's query, an even newer stable version of fail2ban is 0.9.3.
We should update it to this version.

According to the downloads page, the latest stable version is 0.8.14 so we should update to that version.
The livecheck should be fixed too:
