glue universal variant can't be used

Description 

$ sudo port install glue +universal
--->  Computing dependencies for glue
Error: Cannot install glue for the archs 'i386 x86_64' because
Error: its dependency py27-pyrxp does not build for the required archs by default
Error: and does not have a universal variant.
Error: Unable to execute port: architecture mismatch
