Hi,
samtools version 1.2 is out. The sources are now on github.
see: http://www.htslib.org/download/
The samtools suite contains three packages: Samtools, BCFtools and HTSlib
"Samtools and BCFtools both use HTSlib internally, but these source packages contain their own copies of htslib so they can be built independently."
It would be great to have portfiles for all 3.

Added port for bcftools 1.2 in r133488.
Added port for htslib 1.2.1 in r133489.
Harold, I didn't hear from you regarding this ticket. I've left you as maintainer of samtools. Let me know if you want to maintain bcftools and htslib as well, or if you no longer wish to maintain samtools.
