The problem seems to be that source-highlight is looking for libboost_regex-mt.dylib here

when in fact MacPorts installs this library here

/opt/local/lib/libboost_regex-mt.dylib

Do you have a non-MacPorts copy of boost installed in /usr/local ?

It's clear that he does. Patrick, please remove this, and anything else in /usr/local, then "sudo port clean source-highlight", then try again. We do not support having things installed in /usr/local while using MacPorts.

The logfile snippet that you have submitted does not really have enough information to tell what's going on in your case other than to show that your error is something different than reported in this ticket. Your failure is during configure, the original failure was during build. Both mention the boost-regex library but that's as far as it goes.

I did a clean build of source-highlight +universal (Mac OS X 10.11.4 beta5 +Xcode 7.2.1) and it completed successfully with no errors. I suggest you clean everything and give it another try.
