Owner: changed from macports-tickets@… to raimue@…

I don’t think it makes sense to introduce a new Vim-related port that has a different maintainer than the other three. We have had other ports in this situation (wireshark and wireshark-devel come to mind), and the ports tend to diverge.

I don't care about ownership, if raimue doesn't mind I could submit a ticket for this as a MacVim subport. I put in an openmaintainer, I don't see the problem with ownership.

Regarding divergence, it's the same codebase, from the same devs, with basically the same patches.

I just find the latest MacVim stable release too old (Apri 21, 2014 with patch 7.4.316).

Corrected the date in version.

Is there any feature you are missing from the current MacVim?

I see this updates to a newer snapshot. It would be totally fine to just update MacVim to the newer snapshot. I prefer to keep MacVim and vim in sync in terms of patch level to make sure users can always use the same .vimrc.

Although I have to admit and apologize that I slacked a bit and did not keep up with the MacVim releases from the new maintainer.

No, I don't think so.

Great.
