Description

It appears that the rubyforge service no longer exists.

Here is the message from October 2009 saying rubyforge was going to be phased out.

All references to rubyforge in MacPorts should be examined and replaced as needed.

This affects the ruby 1.0 portgroup, and the indicated ports.

I've maintained ports contains "rubyforge" under ruby/ at r137259, r137331, r137337, r137339, r137363, r137364, r137365, r137366 and r137368.

  • rubyforge_gem -> rubygems
  • update master_sites|homepage

I've delete these ports.

  • build fails
  • test for core feature fails
  • current distribute site was not found
    • note: gems are still distributed from rubygems.org

finished!

I've maintained ports.

  • korundum(r137370), qtruby(r137371): change homepage to rubybinding page on kde.org
  • sup (r137372): change homepage to current website
  • xmlresume2x (r137436): use rubygems.org
  • freeride (r137438): delete. freeride does not launch with current versions of dependencies.

Now, any port exists that uses rubyforge* with ruby.setup.

  • group/ruby-1.0.tcl(r137437): delete rubyforge
