#48130 new defect

uhd @3.8.4: i386 build fails: error: integer constant is too large for ‘long’ type

Reported by: ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt) Owned by: michaelld (Michael Dickens)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.3.3
Keywords: Cc:
Port: uhd

Description

On a 32-bit iMac running Snow Leopard, uhd fails to build.

The uhd OS X installation instructions do warn that there is only limited support for 32-bit systems...

There is very little support for getting the background libraries and applications installed on Mac OS X 10.5 or earlier, for 32-bit installs, or for PowerPC based Macs, though any or all of these might be possible.

Does uhd-devel also fail? I believe that this issue was fixed a bit ago; just that it's not yet in a release.
