'port upgrade outdated' crashes on ghostscript

"port upgrade outdated" fails when trying to upgrade ghostscript:

$ sudo  port upgrade outdated
--->  Computing dependencies for ghostscript
--->  Verifying checksums for ghostscript
Error: org.macports.checksum for port ghostscript returned: ghostscript-9.16.tar.gz does not exist in /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ghostscript/9.16_1

    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_print_ghostscript/ghostscript/main.log
Error: Unable to upgrade port: 1

During upgrade session many packages were upgraded without problems ("upgrade outdated" ran for about half an hour before getting to ghostscript). "sudo port selfupdate" was ran before new attempt to perform "upgrade outdated".

This is not a "crash"; this is just an error message—one which can be solved by cleaning the affected port before trying again.

sudo port clean ghostscript
