Actually, I don't know what is really happening, because a checksum mismatch is returned for the file iso-codes-3.62_0.darwin_13.noarch.tbz2, which doesn't even exist on any of the servers searched.

Ok. MacPorts started by trying to download a binary archive (iso-codes-3.62_0.darwin_13.noarch.tbz2). It was not found on 3 servers, so MacPorts gave up and tried to build from source. MacPorts had already fetched iso-codes_3.62.orig.tar.xz from some server on a prior run, but its checksums don't match those in the portfile. It would be helpful to know which server it was fetched from, unfortunately that information is no longer available because the actual fetch happened on a prior run (unless you still have the information in you terminal's scrollback buffer).

Did you read wiki:FAQ#checksums and try to figure out which situation applies?

I went ahead and manually downloaded the file from http://pkg-isocodes.alioth.debian.org/ and retried. This time it worked.
