Description

openssl 1.0.2e fails to build on Mac OS X 10.7.5 (XCode 4.6.3 with up-to-date command line tools); see attached main.log.

This is new as of 1.0.2e; 1.0.2d built fine.

A temporary solution could be replacing openssl's Portfile with previous revision: https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/devel/openssl/Portfile?rev=138481&format=raw

Status: newclosed

Duplicate of #47035 which is much further in analyzing the problem already. Let's track this there.

Note that comment:4 is not really a good workaround, because it will leave you without the security fixes that the update to 1.0.2e would provide.
