Thanks - I changed it to use github which makes it easier to maintain r143234

I thought it was discouraged as per ​the docs. I couldn't find r143234 to take a look at.

There's a difference - using 'PortGroup github 1.1' is encouraged if the project is hosted at github. The portgroup will download a tar file and so will have checksums. Using fetch with git is discouraged as it typically needs a hash and will download all the files upon every fetch and typically it can't use checksums.
