py33-scipy fails with port upgrade outdated

Attempting to upgrade ports version 2.3.4 on OS X 10.9.5, I received the following problem which persisted after cleaning. Log attached.

You must do as the error message says, and install py33-scipy with a Fortran variant. port variants py33-scipy will show you the list of available variants.
