Django is at 1.9.4 but our port is at 1.7.1

(PS Someday I will learn how to do rev bumps myself. Sorry, I'm just not familiar enough with the whole C/unix programming environment, so I need to rely on you kind folks.)

Yes, this port could use a maintainer.

Note that you are using the informal terminology "rev bump" incorrectly. That is for increasing the revision to force a rebuild while the version stays the same.
