#52469 closed update (fixed)

Rust update to 1.13

Reported by: jboone (Jared Boone) Owned by: g5pw (Aljaž Srebrnič)
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.3.4
Keywords: haspatch Cc: raimue (Rainer Müller)
Port: rust

Description

Proposed patch: updates version numbers, stage0 date, hashes, removes patch for 1.11 source.

It's unclear whether the "i386" platform will build correctly, when binaries from the Rust project use the "i686" nomenclature.

Tested on x86_64, OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan.

Thanks.

Since the port already requires OS X 10.7 or later, and all machines that run 10.7 have x86_64 processors, such a situation is unlikely to arise (though 10.6 support is requested in #50009...)

Works fine for me on 10.12 Sierra and would resolve #52247, where you mentioned it does not work on 10.11 El Capitan.
