Description
libfwbuilder was submitted in 2004 and has not been updated since. Current version is 5.1.0 last updated in 2012. Updating the port should remove the dependency on glib1 which itself is in the process of being removed from MacPorts. Please advise on action to take with respect to this port.
CCing mf2k concerning possible abandonment of this port.

After further research into this port it appears that it has been discontinued as a separate entity and superseded by fwbuilder itself whose port to MacPorts was never completed. See https://trac.macports.org/ticket/1869.
I propose to just go ahead and remove this obsolete glib1 implementation. fwbuilder can be ported if and when there is demand for it.
