UPDATE: Bugzilla 2.20 Portfile

I am trying to switch from a Gentoo system running Bugzilla 2.20 to an OSX system running DarwinPorts. I can't complete the switch until DarwinPorts has the 2.20 version of Bugzilla incorporated into the Ports system.

On Gentoo, I can rename the ebuild file to the new version, and that sometimes works. Can you tell me how I might go about trying to install 2.20 in a similar fashion on DarwinPorts?

If I cannot do that, how long will it be before Bugzilla 2.20 is in the tree?

rshaw@ unfortunatetely left the project, so... I've nevertheless updated the port to version 2.21.1 - would you mind and check if it works? (didn't do much testing apart from installation)

I tried to install, but I got the following error. I simply ran the install command again, and it completed the install (seemingly successfully) as you can see at the bottom of this comment.

xserve:~ root# port install bugzilla Portfile changed since last build; discarding previous state. ---> Fetching bugzilla ---> Attempting to fetch bugzilla-2.21.1.tar.gz from ---> Verifying checksum(s) for bugzilla ---> Extracting bugzilla ---> Applying patches to bugzilla ---> Configuring bugzilla ---> Building bugzilla ---> Staging bugzilla into destroot ---> Packaging tgz archive for bugzilla 2.21.1_0 ---> Installing bugzilla 2.21.1_0

To complete the installation of bugzilla, you should read the quick start document found here:

For step 4, the bugzilla configuration file can be found here:

Error: Target returned: can't read "wwwRoot": no such variableError: /opt/local/bin/port: Status 1 encountered during processing. xserve:~ root# port install bugzilla ---> Activating bugzilla 2.21.1_0 ---> Cleaning bugzilla
