ncurses +universal: fails to build when using `-t`

Description

No time to dig further now, but I happened to install sudo port -v -t install ncurses +universal which failed. Probably some dependencies are not declared? 

fatal error: ar: can't find or exec: /opt/local/bin/ranlib (No such file or directory)

Whichever ar is being found apparently wants to run /opt/local/bin/ranlib specifically. ranlib and ar both come from cctools, which I guess you have installed.

Yes, I have it installed, but I was using trace mode, so it was probably hidden.
