That means glib2 needs to be upgraded first. What is the output of port installed glib2? Try again after ​upgrading all installed ports first.

Do you have glib2 or glib2-devel installed? I know that you will get this error if you have glib2-devel installed; to fix this, I need to update glib2-devel to the same version that glib2 was already updated to.
